What is a Showcase?

A collection of video and other content organized for targeted audiences in branded portals. 

What content can I add to a Showcase?

You can post any published content from your library to an existing Showcase - video presentations, Flip Decks, audio narrated presentations etc. 

Can I brand or customize a Showcase?

Yes, you can easily add your logo, a banner, and any colors to the Showcase. If you do not upload a logo, it will say Home.

You can also decide if you want it to display in a grid or list format. This is found under Edit Category.

How much content can I add to a Showcase?

You can add as much content as you'd like to a Showcase. You can create categories and subcategories as well. 

Note: the maximum you can have is 3 levels deep or Category > Sub Category > Sub Sub-Category

Can I track a viewer's progress throughout the Showcase?

Yes, by placing a Guestbook Registration on the front of a Showcase you can track each viewer's progress or activity on every presentation posted within the Showcase. This avoids having to place a separate Guestbook Registration on every presentation. 

Reporting dashboards will track each presentation's views, and show whether it was accessed via a Showcase or directly through the public link. Remember your presentation will have its public url found on the share page and it will have a Showcase url. 

Please note: if your presentation has a Guestbook Registration on it and you post it to a Showcase that also has a Guestbook Registration, the Showcase Guestbook will take precedent and the individual presentation GR will be suppressed.

Can the same content be added to multiple Showcases?

Yes, on the share page of the presentation you can select Post to Showcase and choose as many Showcases as you want for it to appear. Reporting will track where the viewer accessed the presentation - which Showcase or the public link.

How can I share a Showcase?

You can share a Showcase via the URL, post to Social Media or through our Email Sender which places tracking parameters onto the URL. This allows you to track viewer activity without a Guestbook Registration. 

Can the viewer bookmark or sort the presentations in a Showcase?

Currently, viewers can only view the Showcase in the order it is organized; however, there are future plans for viewers to self-sort or mark their favorites. 

How secure is a Showcase?

The Showcase is an https or secure site that uses SSL encryption. It is not optimized for search engines, so unless you post the link to the Showcase publicly, it is not searchable. Additionally, you can also restrict access to the Showcase by adding a password and/or a Guestbook Registration. Also, Guestbooks can be restricted to Guest List access for another level of security. Can I monetize a Showcase?

Monetization options are currently not available in self-provisioned Showcases; however, if you require this feature, we can custom design a Showcase for you. Please contact support to find out more.
